Class Etiquette & Hygiene
 
  1. Refer to all Instructors as “Coach” and Black Belt Instructors as “Professor
  2. Classes begin with students lining up in descending rank order with the senior most ranked student leading the warm up.
  3. Classes end with students lining up in descending rank order for Instructor dismissal.
  4. At all time, keep a respectful posture in the gym. No lying down on the mats.
  5. During Class, when the instructor is demonstrating the techniques, every student must sit in a position of base. No standing is allowed.
  6. If you are late sit by the side of the mat and wait for the Instructor’s permission to join the class.
  7. If you need to leave the mat or leave class early you must ask permission from the Instructor.
  8. Shake hands with your partner before and after practice and at the beginning and end of each sparring session.
  9. Talking should be kept to a minimum level and should relate to the class subject.
  10. Absolutely no foul language inside the school.
  11. Do not belch inside the school.
  12. Keep finger and toe nails short for everyone’s safety.
  13. To the best of your ability shower before class in order to avoid spreading germs and viruses prevalent in a skin on skin contact sport.
  14. All students must wear the official Next Generation uniform. **
  15. The Uniform represents your rank and progress and must be worn at all times. Keep it on. **
  16. The Uniform MUST be washed before each training session. A dirty uniform is a sign of disrespect.**
  17. During class, no items such as hats, beanies or gloves may be worn at anytime.
  18. All metal objects, jewelry, piercings, earrings, necklaces or other such items must be removed.
  19. No shoes, food or drinks on the mat.
  20. No Cell Phones on the mat area. They must remain inside your bag and silenced.
