Kevin came into this fight 1-0 eager to add another win to his record.
As the first round started both fighters circled feeling each other out. There was a few brief exchanges of strikes but nothing significant landing until Kevin backed his opponent into the fence where he then landed a straight right dropping Frank to the mat. Kevin immediately followed up by mounting Frank and landing a series of punches. Most referees would have stopped the fight here but Herb Dean was right on top of the action and to both Frank and Herb's credit, allowed the fight to continue. Kevin's opponent recovered and defended Kevin's strikes from the mount, where Kevin stayed the remainder of the round.
The second and third round we saw Kevin land more knees, body shots and upper cut from the clinch and pinning his opponent against the fence. It was a well fought fight for Kevin and his opponent Frank Pizzirulli was as tough as they come.
Kevin won the fight via a unanimous decision.
