
Zack Brennan
Head Martial Arts Instructor & MMA Team Coach
Zack brings a wealth of diversity and experience to the Next Generation MMA. He grew up playing baseball, soccer, ice hockey at very high levels and was a martial arts practitioner.
Zack attended the University of Southern California (USC) where he played baseball for the Trojans. He graduated in 2002 with a B.A. in Psychology. After graduating he worked for CW Sports Performance. One of the highlights of this job was providing strength and conditioning training for NFL athletes for the prestigious Athlete's First (A-1) Sports Agency based in Newport Beach CA.
Zack began training Nogi Jiu-Jitsu 10 years ago and is a Brown Belt ranked under his older brother Chris Brennan. Since that time he acted as Chris's manager, along with managing all the fighters from Next Generation MMA. He's negotiated contracts with the biggest promotions around the world such as the UFC, Pride FC, King of the Cage, Shooto Japan, WEC, Extreme Challenge, Hook'n Shoot etc, etc.
Zack started teaching kids Jiu-Jitsu at Next Generation and continued to teach more and more classes as time moved on. He has traveled to different parts of the world teaching seminars with Chris and was a
cornerman for Chris and Next Generation MMA athletes and grapplers during MMA and submission grappling events.
Zack is now 2-0 in Professional MMA competition and has plans to continue fighting. He has a great passion for teaching but is also a fierce competitor who holds himself to the same standards he preaches.
